Quite possible this was the only set of these made as Elizabeth Lumsden Waterston was described as a student and was active between 1958 and 1963 so its not thought she could have been considered as prolific by any manner of means.
Interesting rope design to the handles.
Condition is good with expected scuff marks from normal useage.

Originally the Deacon, or leader of the craft, assayed and marked the members’ items, but in 1681 a separate Assay Master was appointed to oversee this task.
