Scottish antique sterling silver and blue enamel curling trophy modelled as an actual curling rink with even the 4 feet modelled as curling stones.
Engraved to the centre with Careston Castle, on googling this castle we found that it did have a curling pond so this may have been a one off trophy for one competition or it was played for yearly.
Thought to be a one off piece and doubtful will you will come across another.
The two circular scoring zones/target area have been done in a blue enamel.
A super piece in very good order (just the odd small mark, nothing at all drastic).
It measures 262x70x23mm and is of excellent weight(391g).
