Large unusual sterling silver travel double photograph frame.
Hallmarked from London in 1914 with the makers mark being that of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd.
The inside faces have scuffing and scratches but this is the area which would be hidden when photographs are in position.
No dents or damage etc, a few small stubborn marks on the outside which may require a more in-depth polish.
The hinge remains very tight and when opened it will stay open at any position you wanted and stands on its edge and does not require a stand.
There is no glass but we are unsure if it would have had glass for the fear of breaking whilst travelling.
A super quality piece which measures 160x110mm.
