Pair of very scarce sterling silver whist markers in original case.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1897 with the makers mark being that of Lawrence Emanuel.
In exceptional condition, no scuffs at all which would suggest they have been in their case all their life or very sparingly used and well looked after if they were indeed ever used.
The case which is complete shows minor external wear.
The pointing finger can be turned to point to one of the numbers between 1 and 9.
They measure 38mm in diameter.
