Sterling Silver Serving Tray, Huge, London 1926, The Royal Highlanders Black Watch

£7,250.00

A very large and heavy two handled sterling silver serving tray by Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd, hallmarked from London in 1926.

It carries the crest of The Royal Highlanders Black Watch to the centre as well as the following inscription ” Presented to Henry Norman Wilson on his marriage by some of his brother officers 25th April 1929″.

It then has 70 facsimile engraved signatures, some of which may have went on to serve in WWII(no research has been carried out on any of the names).

It measures 29×18 inches.

Condition is good with no damage, it does have the odd mark on it, one of which looks to have caused a small circular stain by a glass or something similar, a super example with a military connection.
