Description
Sterling Silver Sauce Boat
An impressive large English antique sterling silver sauce boat by Henry Morris, hallmarked from London in 1749 (date letter partially rubbed).
It carries the crest of a bulls head which we have not researched.
One very minor defect, where the handle joins the boat its caused a very minor hairline, otherwise a very fine example of considerable weight.
It measures 195mm in length and stands 127mm tall at the highest point.
