Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1919/20 with the makers mark being that of William James Dingley.
Gold central shield cartouche remains intact, however it would appear the vast majority if not all was gold plated and as you can see much of this has worn away.
The inscription on the reverse side shows it was awarded as a prize for boxing.
