Sterling Silver Cigarette Case, Triple Entente, Antique, Birmingham 1914

£1,200.00

A scarce English sterling silver cigarette case by Sydney & Co, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1914.

Three soldiers appear in relief on the front, the central figure being The British soldier, flanked by what we believe will be a Belgian and a French soldier, the three countries of the Triple Entente.

The case is in exceptional order, one small bruise on back that you need to move around in the light to pick up on, very minor and not always easy to find it, interior retains its gilt interior, quite possibly never been used.

Measures 90x83mm.
