English late Victorian sterling silver squeeze release snuff box with extensive foliage decoration.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1887 with the makers mark being that of George Unite.
Super clean box with very well struck hallmarks.
There are 3 or 4 small bruises to the box mainly on the pattern so difficult to capture on the camera, none in any way detract from a very nice example, light loss of the gilt interior.
To open, gentle pressure is applied to both side of the box and the lid pops open.
Measures approx 75x65x20mm.
