Wonderful quality sterling silver model of a spaniel dog, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1949 with the makers mark being that of A L Davenport Ltd. This is solid and is not filled in any way, a very good heavy piece.
It would appear that this may have been set into a stand or plinth at some point, the small knob on the underside of the base makes it rock ever so slightly.
The base has a diameter of 53mm and the model stands approx 55mm tall.
Condition is excellent with just a small dink to the edge of the base.
