English antique sterling silver soup ladle, hallmarked from York in 1821 with
the makers mark being that of James Barber & William Whitwell.
A full set of hallmarks including the York mark.
Engraved initials to terminal.
Condition is excellent with just a couple of minute pinhead sized dinks to
the bowl , you will need to move the ladle around in the light to pick up on
these.
Of substantial size and weight with an all over mirror like finish.
Measures 340mm in length and the bowl measures 107mm across.
