Antique Scottish sterling silver sauce ladle, hallmarked from 1810 with the makers mark being that of John Zeigler.
At one time this would have been entirely gilt finshed but much of the gilt is now away with the bowls inside being the area that has retained the most.
Interesting family crest on terminal which we have not researched.
Very good order with just one pinhead sized dink to bowl (very very minimal).
Measures 128mm in length and the bowl measures 36mm across.
