Antique Scottish sterling silver lidded powder bowl, hallmarked from Edinburgh in 1767 , only the P is visable from makers mark but we would say its most probably Patrick Robertson.
No engravings and no damage but it does have some firestain in places resulting in a grey appearance in places.
A very rare piece of considerable size.
Measures 110mm across the top rim, obviously wider in the mid section.
