Description
Very nice antique hallmarked sterling silver folding fruit knife with Mother of Pearl handle.
The blade is hallmarked from Sheffield in the year 1835 with the makers mark being that of William Nowill.
The handle has an unengraved rectangular cartouche which has never been engraved.
Blade is perfect, the handle has a small hairline from edge just above the cartouche, this is very light and by no means drastic, there are a couple of other very minor nibbles only really noticeable through a loupe.
When opened it measures 147mm and when closed it measures 83mm.
