Silver Folding Fruit Knife, Henry Atkin, Sheffield 1851

Victorian sterling silver bladed folding fruit knifewith highly detailed mother of pearl handle. The blade is hallmarked from Sheffield in 1851 with the makers mark being
that of Henry Atkin.

Exceptional condition, probably the tightest blade I have seen in ages with
no wear or movement what so ever, this appears to have been very seldom used.

The only slight blemish and it is tiny, is that near the central rivet on the
more plainer side of handle there is a small scratch(very very slight) and may
just be a natural mark on the mother of shell, not at all something we would
describe as damage and you need to really look to see it.

When opened it measures 142mm and when closed it measures 80mm.

As good an example as you could wish to find.

Tartan bow shown in any images is not included with the sale of the item.
