Silver Folding Fruit Knife, George Unite 1844

Attractive early Victorian fruit knife with hallmarked silver blade from Birmingham 1844 with a very decorative Mother of Pearl handle beautifully decorated to both sides.
The handle is perfect with no defects and is shaped a little more than many knives you more commonly see.
The blade has some minor rippling and there is very slight springback of the blade when it is closed(again a minor point). However there is a suspicion of a slight repair to the blade at the very end where it joins the actual handle.. Not instantly noticable.
140mm in length when opened and 79mm when closed.
