Silver Folding Fruit Knife
English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with decorative mother of pearl handle in original fitted case, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1874 with the makers mark being that of Hilliard & Thomason.
A super example of very good size, blade is perfect, handle is perfect but for the smallest of small hairlines at one of the handle pins, very very minor and other wise a quite exceptional knife.
Hallmarks are well struck and wonderfully preserved, opens and closes perfectly.
Original case is also in very good order.
When closed it measures 88mm and when opened measures 152mm.
