Silver Folding Fruit Knife
Antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with mother of pearl handle, hallmarked from Sheffield in 1823, the makers mark being I.T (probably John Taylor)
Blade closes with no spring back in the closed position, the mother of pearl is lifting at one side because its came away from its pin, small nibbles on edges here and there to the mother of pearl.
When closed it measures 82mm and when opened 150mm.
