English antique sterling silver combination vesta case and cheroot cutter, marked as The Unity Patent.

Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1890 with the makers mark being that of Horton & Allday.

J McF engraved to the front.

The cutter when not in use closes flush with the lid and can be pulled out to operate the cutter, all functioning as it should do.

Lid remains tight with a most pleasing snappy sound when closing.

Condition is very good, just a few very minor small dinks(nothing at all unsightly or eye catching).

Measures 53x45mm.

Silver Combination Vesta Case

English antique sterling silver combination vesta case and cheroot cutter, marked as The Unity Patent.

Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1890 with the makers mark being that of Horton & Allday.
