English antique sterling silver calling card case with corner hinged vesta case and match striker.
A very unusual piece which is hallmarked from London in 1885 with the makers mark being that of Alfred Hall & John Goode.
The card case lid has some loss of tension on the hinge but will open and stay in differing positions without falling , vesta compartment hinge has full tension .
There are no splits but there are a number of small dinks on the front and back, mostly you need to move it around in the light to pick up on, we have struggled to capture them with the camera.
Super clean with a mirror like finish.
