This is a silver Caddy Spoon, Joseph Taylor, Birmingham 1813, bright cut and pierced work bowl, in excellent order with a full set of marks to bowls reverse and makers mark on terminal.
The spoon measures 87 mm in length.
Compared to other spoons, caddy spoons have shorter handles and shallower bowls. The spoon handle is shorter and, as a result, the spoon can be stored with the tea in a tea caddy. The shallow bowl is to accurately measure out the right amount of tea leaves.
