Impressive antique Scottish sterling silver salver, hallmarked from Glasgow in 1876, whilst this JR maker has as yet not been identified with certainty it is possibly one of the many marks used by James Reid.
Decorated with a plethora of wild animals to the outer border with a nicely engraved central area with deer.
Sits astride 3 mask like feet.
In excellent order and measures 257mm in diameter.
