A Russian 84 Standard Silver Caddy Spoon with aesthetic decoration to reverse of bowl and stem.F.P engraved to the terminal front.
This is a Russian Silver Caddy Spoon, Aesthetic, 84 Kokoshnik, c.1908
The spoon’s terminal tip has a slight dink due to the very tip bent over slightly (nothing drastic).
It is a very nice example which measures 114 mm in length.
Compared to other spoons, caddy spoons have shorter handles and shallower bowls. The spoon handle is shorter and, as a result, the spoon can be stored with the tea in a tea caddy. The shallow bowl is to accurately measure out the right amount of tea leaves.
