A rare sterling silver vesta case with an engraved image of Duff House in Banff, complete with original cardboard box showing it was retailed by William Abel of Banff.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1909.
Case is in excellent order, clean base striker suggesting that has not been used and a good tight hinge.
The cardboard box has most of its lid and base corners split but it all remains intact.
Measures 51x36mm (excluding the additional suspension loop)
