Pair of antique English silver candlesticks by Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co (Charles Hawksworth & John Eyre) hallmarked from Sheffield in 1834.
The raised decoration on the base area of both does have 2 holes in each stick, the odd small dink here and there which are minor and not at all anything considered drastic or unsightly, they are both missing the top removeable sconces.
Dink to top edge of one of them, both carry a family crest of a bird which we have not researched.
They stand just short of 9 inches tall and measure 130mm across the base.
The base green felt on each has been recently fitted as the original was badly discoloured and torn.
