Large sterling silver salver on 3 ball and claw feet.
Hallmarked from Sheffield in 1944 with the makers mark being that of Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd.
Engraved to the centre with ” Presented to Lieut Colonel James Gray M.B.E.T.D. on the occasion of his marriage to 2nd officer Iris Fraser W.R.N.S by officers who served with him in 51st (Highland) Divisional Signals 1945″, around this presentation inscription are the signatures of those who served with Liut Colonel Gray.
In excellent order and measures 320mm across.
