Sterling silver agricultural medal/medallion with enamel crest of Perth in Scotland.
It is hallmarked from Birmingham in 1975 with the makers mark being that of Deakin & Francis Ltd.
As the images will show, it has numerous edge knocks, the enamel however remains intact.
It measures 50mm in diameter and weighs 71g.
The inscription to the rear reads ‘ Presented to Major P.H Henderson, D.F.C. Lawton, Coupar Angus,Perthshire, winner of the trophy for The Supreme Champion Shorthorn Bull. Presented by the Lord Provost Magistrates & Councillors of the city and royal burgh of Perth on the occasion of the spring bull sale in February 1975 at the Perth Market of McDonald Fraser & Co Ltd.’
