This large double-compartment sterling silver cigarette box dates to London 1948, displaying crisp hallmarks. It features twin hinged lids atop a rectangular form, adding functional elegance. The substantial size measures approximately 200 × 120 × 50 mm, offering generous capacity. Engine‑turned decoration runs around the lids and sides, creating refined Art Deco flair. The box rests on four stepped bracket feet, elevating its sleek profile. A cedar-lined interior adds warmth and protects contents from moisture. Its twin compartments allow organized storage for cigarettes or small valuables. The hinged lids close with a satisfying snap and align neatly. This piece blends mid‑century style with practical design, ideal for collectors. Its 1948 manufacture marks it as a beautiful example of post‑war craftsmanship.
