Made by Stephen Adams and hallmarked from London in 1809 this item is in excellent order and measures 224 mm in length.
Known simply as ‘berry spoons’ these items have elaborate displays of berries or fruits on their bowls. They are often quite large and usually have detailed decoration on the handle. They are generally used for serving soft fruits but appear in many forms, for example dessert spoon, table spoon etc.
