This is a Chinese Export Silver Snuff Box by Yatshing of Canton circa 1830.
Hence this piece was produced towards the end of the period known as the “Old China Trade” which lasted from 1783 to 1844.
The box has no defects and is in very nice condition and it has the name “Janie” neatly engraved on the lid.
It measures 74 mm wide x 46 mm deep and, in conclusion, is a good example of the type.
