Brass Repeater Carriage Clock
A large brass repeater carriage clock with a dark blue dial, complete with key.
The case may benefit from a polish, light scratches on front glass (minimal), one small chip to the top right hand glass panel of back door on upper right corner.
The clock is keeping perfect time, when the repeater button is pressed it strikes the hours, however something needs adjusting or sorting, whilst the repeater works when button is pressed its not striking at all on the half half or hour when left to its own devices.
A heavy clock, weighing 2.265Kg including the key as it stands.
Stands 187mm tall at handles top when in the upright position, to the top of clock excluding handle it stands 145mm, width is 102mm and depth is 90mm
Most probably French in origin and thought to date to pre 1900 but exact date is unknown.
