English antique sterling silver vesta case, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1919, the makers mark is poorly struck but would appear to be that of Rolason Brothers.
The striker is perfectly clean and shows no evidence at all of use, the interior retains 100% of its lavish gilt interior, again suggesting no use, the outside has some scuffs and marks, quite possible never been used but has not been wrapped up and over the years has been allowed to knock off other items(one very minor bruise only noticeable when moved around in the light(very very minor).
It opens and closes as it would have done the day it was made, so again suggesting it has not been used.
