English antique sterling silver tankard or mug ideal for a christening gift.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1873 with the makers mark being that of George Unite.
Super clean order and wonderfully detailed.
No dinks or damage etc, on very close examination the cartouche has a few very small marks on it, it would appear it has had an erasure , this has not resulted in this area being thin or springy, you have to use magnification to see the small marks as in a loupe or indeed a camera.
Stands 91mm tall at highest point of the handle.
