Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1836 with the makers mark being that of Francis Clark.
It also has a suspension loop fitted which will have been to hang from a pocket watch chain.
Gilt interior remains intact, one small dink on a back corner (very minimal).
The engraved rifle is not as bold as it would have been when first done.
