English antique sterling silver snuff box of excellent quality, weight & size.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1828, the makers mark of TS could be one of several makers all with pretty much identical marks.
The lid shows 3 hunting dogs, most probably trying to catch the pheasant which can be seen at the bottom left of the picture of the lid pecking one dogs tail and all 3 dogs can not see it hidden within the bush.
No damage at all, just some marks to the gilt interior of the base (very minor).
The decoration to lid as well as all sides and base remains very much intact.
Measures 78x45x23mm.
