English antique sterling silver snuff box of generous proportions, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1824,the makers mark may be that of Coventry case maker Thomas Spicer who registered an identical mark.
The gilt is intact to the inside base but most has worn on the lid’s inside.
Some loss of tension to lid, the lid has been engraved at some point and later erased, when moved around in the light, light bruising can be seen on the lid.
Base area is 100% immaculate with no wear.
