Antique Sterling Silver Berry Spoon
In excellent order and retains its gilt interior to the bowl.
The makers mark is clear but other marks are indistict.
This example measures 205 mm in length.
Even though they are known as ‘berry spoons’ these items can have elaborate displays of berries or fruits on their bowls. They are usually quite large and usually have detailed decoration on the handle. Generally used for serving soft fruits but appear in many forms, for example dessert spoon, table spoon etc.
