| Antique English sterling silver double compartment snuff box, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1809, letter M or W is visible for the makers mark but the other letter not so clear.Extensive bright cut decoration to all external surfaces which all remains crisp and clear, the gilt interior is also in excellent order, only slight loss to the gilt on the lid edges which because the lids close nice and tightly this has worn a little by rubbing when closing. Without doubt it could be considered as a museum condition example, English Both sides have had an engraving (see images). Measures 63x38x16mm.
