Offered here is a superb condition antique sterling silver hip flask weighing just short of 10 troy ounce, very difficult to find them of this age and to see one of this age but also in exceptional condition is even more difficult, this one even comes with its original leather case, please note one section has came away on case but is included should the new owner want to have this repaired.
It is hallmarked from London 1811 and marked beneath the base cup as well as inside the cup itself and lion passant and date letter is also stamped to the inside of the lid.
The lid carries a family crest as well as a Latin logo which we have not researched.
Its free from any other engravings and is damage free, feather detailing to the outer edges of both sides.
Stands 6 1/2 inches tall and measures 4 3/8 inches across its widest point.
