English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with mother of pearl handle.
English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with mother of pearl handle.
A two bladed example, the main longer blade is hallmarked from Sheffield in 1893 with the makers mark being that of William Needham, the smaller blade is made from steel.
A very good knife with a couple of points to note: the small discoloured patch on one side of handle end has been a small repair which will have been done to repair a chip, also on the other side there is a very small flea-bite (very very minimal).
When fully opened it measures 132mm and when closed measures 78mm.
