English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with mother of pearl handle.
Hallmarked from Sheffield in 1882 with the makers mark being that of Thomas Marples.
A little spring-back of blade when closed (minimal), also the tiniest of small nibbles on the mother of pearl handle edge, just across from the shield shaped cartouche (visable on the image of the knife taken lying flat).
Measures 133mm when opened and 76mm when closed.
