English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with a decorative mother of pearl handle.
Hallmarked from Sheffield in 1866, the makers mark is either poorly struck or has been over struck, may be George Unite or John Oxley, The second latter U is clear, the first appears to be an I.
The cartouche is engraved with the name ‘ Agnes L ‘.
A super looking knife, the blade super clean, all without damage. Slight loss of tension just as it gets to the full closure position.
A super knife which measures 138mm when opened and 82mm when closed.
