English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife by Joseph Law, John Oxley & Henry Atkin, hallmarked from Sheffield in 1827.
A nice clean knife, nice in every way but it should be noted there is either an imperfection to the reverse side of the mother of pearl handle or a very old repair possibly done at time of manufacture, the camera and a loupe pick up on it better than the human eye, it is the form of a hairline, looking like a join to the mother of pearl.
That aside a nice example of good size.
Measures 142mm when opened and 78mm when closed.
