Hallmarked from Sheffield in 1869 with the makers mark being that of Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall).
The cartouche engraved with a previous owners name (C Lloyd).
The mother of pearl is nicely shaped and finely decorated as is the blade which features fruit and foliage.
Slightest of spring-back on the blade when closed(minimal) and a very small nibble on the mother of pearl where it meets the silver mount.
A top top quality knife.
