English antique sterling silver folding fruit knife with a nicely textured mother of pearl handle.
Only marked with the duty head and lion passant so will date to c.1800.
It opens and closes well with no spring-back of the blade when closed, it does however have a very small and minor nibble to the mother or pearl at one corner, if you look along the blade which has proved pretty difficult to capture with the camera, the blade is slightly off of being perfectly straight (it is very minor and well go un-noticed by some).
It measures 141mm when opened and 77mm when closed.
