Agricultural sterling silver trophy complete with its bakelite stand.

Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1935/36 with the makers mark being that of William Neale & Son Ltd.

A small dink to the cup where the bottom of a handle joins the cup (minor), when off the stand there is a little wobble but when pressed onto its stand its perfect.

The inscription reads ” Kirkintilloch & District Agricultural Society 1936, for best animal of the Clydesdale breed , presented by president & secretary , won by Alex Duncan.

On stand it stands 198mm tall, without stands it stands 130mm tall and it measures 137mm across the handles.
