Apollo 8 astronauts first manned moon flight December 1968.
The paperwork and medal edge are number 78 from a maximum of 5000 to be produced (we are unsure if the full 5000 were ever made or not).
Wonderful condition with just a small blemish beneath one of the wings on one side of the medallion.
44mm in diameter.
The case in good order but should be noted that the white material inside the lid has some foxing.
