6 very large sterling silver handled dinner knives with steel blades, 5 are Victorian and carry the makers mark of Harrison Brothers & Howson but no date letter is present, the other looks to be a replacement and no mark at all is present on the handle of that one, all blades marked John Batt & Co Ltd of Sheffield.
Some small dinks and signs of wear to handles from use but no seperation between handles and blades.
The 5 that are the same measure 10 3/4 inches in length, the other is slightly smaller at 10 1/2 inches.
One blade has a very small dink to the tip otherwise all blades in exceptional condition. Blades may be later replacements as they are exceptionally clean and we do not believe they are original to the handles, probably the original blades were worn and someone had new blades fitted.
