A full set of limited edition hallmarked silver ingots each weighing approx 67 grammes but accurate weight of the 36 combined is shown above.
Each of the 36 medallions has a finely sculpted image of a different vintage or classic car from the collection of Lord Montagu, and on the reverse side is an inscription giving the main technical specifications of the model.
Each measures 52x29mm.
They would have originally came with a certificate/informational sheet for each but these have been lost over the years, whats on offer is the 36 ingots with their superb wooden presentation case which is complete with lock and 2 keys.
Each one is numbered 0873 but how many sets were issued we are unsure of…Condition very good but there is the odd light scuff here and there none of which are considered drastic.
The cars shown on the ingots are as follows:
1898 Benz , 1899 Daimler , 1902 Ballot , 1903 De Dion Bouton , 1903 Mercedes , 1906 Renault , 1907 Italia , 1907 Napier , 1908 Austin , 1909 Rolls Royce , 1911 Mercer , 1912 Ford , 1912 Hispano Suiza , 1912 Sunbeam , 1903 Peugeot , 1914 Sizaire Berwick , 1914 Vauxhall , 1921 Duisenberg , 1923 Austin Seven , 1924 Morris Cowley , 1924 Sunbeam , 1925 Alvis , 1925 Bugatti , 1926 Bugatti , 1926 Delage , 1927 Hispano Suiza , 1928 Packard Coup? , 1933 Alfa Romeo , 1934 Alfa Romeo , 1934 Maserati 8CM , 1935 Auburn , 1935 E.R.A. , 1937 Mercedes Benz , 1938 Auto Union ,.
