The firm of Hilliard & Thomason entered a few different marks and most of there items were assayed at Birmingham assay office. The firms first mark was registered in January 1847.
Prolific makers and there marks can be found on a wide range of silverware.
They were the successors to Taylor & Perry and were known to have traded from Spencer Street as well as Caroline Street in Birmingham.
Situated within the Central belt of Scotland (UK), we are a small, family run business. Indeed, we traded in silver for many years before forming Dart Silver Ltd in 2006.
